METEOR는 그녀가 자신의 개인적인 사건과 감각을 처음으로 외부의 언어로 드러내기 시작한 작업이다.

리서치는 찰나에 나타났다가 사라지는 유성우의 현상에서 출발한다.
그녀는 탄생과 소멸 사이를 스쳐 지나가는 빛의 움직임에 주목하며, 그것을 하나의 상징으로 소비하기보다 현상 자체가 지닌 시간성과 에너지, 그리고 응축된 운동성을 움직임의 재료로 받아들였다.
이 작업은 서사를 구축하기보다, 유성우라는 현상이 품고 있는 감각과 구조를 몸 안으로 옮겨오는 과정에 가깝다.

이후 리서치는 몸 훈련을 중심으로 한 신체 연구로 확장된다.
그녀에게 몸 훈련은 특정한 움직임을 익히기 위한 기술이 아니라, 하나의 의미 안에 머물던 몸을 다시 낯선 감각으로 열어가는 방법이었다.
이를 통해 몸 안에 공존하는 서로 다른 감각과 기억들을 마주하고, 무의식 속에 머물던 창작의 단서들을 조금씩 드러내기 시작했다.

이 과정은 작업의 방향을 하나의 의미를 전달하는 방식에서 벗어나 질문을 남기는 구조로 이동하게 했다.

METEOR was the first work through which she began to externalize deeply personal experiences and sensations into an artistic language.

The research began with the phenomenon of a meteor shower—appearing only for a fleeting moment before disappearing into darkness.

Rather than treating the meteor shower as a symbol, she became interested in the phenomenon itself: its temporality, condensed energy, and the movement of light passing between emergence and disappearance. These qualities became the material from which the movement research was developed.
Instead of constructing a narrative, METEOR sought to translate the sensory structure of the phenomenon into the body, allowing its rhythm, duration, and physical qualities to shape the choreography.
The research later expanded into an investigation of the body through physical training.

For her, body training was never simply a way of acquiring movement techniques. It became a method of opening the body beyond familiar patterns of meaning and allowing unfamiliar sensations to emerge. Through this process, she encountered the different memories and sensations that coexist within the body, gradually uncovering creative impulses that had remained beneath conscious awareness.

This research also marked a shift in her artistic practice—from creating works that sought to communicate a single meaning toward works that leave space for questions, interpretation, and multiple readings.
